Wayne M. Aufrecht has over 10 years experience as a consumer bankruptcy attorney in both Chapter 7 (liquidation) and Chapter 13 (debt reorganization). Mr. Aufrecht has successfully assisted hundreds of clients obtain debt protection through the bankruptcy process. Mr. Aufrecht’s primary focus is bankruptcy law but he also represents clients in personal injury, successions and estates.
He is a 1994 graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. In 1997, he received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University, New Orleans School of Law.
Mr. Aufrecht is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Covington Bar Association. Mr. Aufrecht was employed by AT&T in business marketing prior to earning his law degree. Mr. Aufrecht is admitted to practice before Louisiana state courts and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
